Self Harm seems to be scarily on the increase between males and females. Having difficulty in stopping myself from this, it breaks my heart to see people I know feeling and doing what I have done in so many bouts of extreme anger. I am disgusted that rock stars (Casey Chaos-Amen) are happy enough to go on stage only to self harm infront of thousands, the result being taken to hospital for the severity of the harm. Self Harm is not a game, it is a cry for help and it is a dangerous, vicious circle. Once involved, it is hard to resist the temptation on it's own, but having 'role models' perform this as part of a circus only adds to the confusion and destruction it causes. Self Harm is not the answer, it is simply running away from a problem. Talk to someone, it makes you feel a lot better and there are no ugly scars to hide. Take it easy, Clare x |
